“I wanted to extend thanks once again to B.I.G for the gift to help me pursue a post-secondary education. It is hard to believe it will soon be a year since I was awarded the Evangeline J. Montgomery scholarship. Please tell the members that I am working hard to make a full return of their investment in me.”

A message from Jide:

“I was honored to be a 2014 BIG Carl T. Rowan Scholar. Thanks to the support of the organization, I successfully completed my freshman year at Brown with a 3.4 GPA per concentration in Computer Science and Economics. This summer I will be working here in Washington, D.C. as an intern at Cisco Systems, Inc. Once again, I appreciate the support so much! And one day I intend on investing in the organization just as you all have invested in me.”
